The General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) has launched the “Salam” initiative, a digital-first campaign to protect workers and volunteers serving pilgrims.
The initiative reflects the Kingdom’s push for digital innovation and workplace safety key pillars of Vision 2030.

A Smarter Way to Stay Safe During Hajj
Through the GOSI app, the Salam initiative offers a personalized digital experience. This guides workers through each stage of their Hajj duties. Features include:
- A simplified Safety Guide covering essential practices and risk awareness.
- A Visual Library with multilingual videos, including sign language.
- Quick access to emergency contacts, hospitals, and health services.
This mobile-based journey ensures workers have safety tools and knowledge at their fingertips wherever they are.
Building Awareness Beyond the Screen
GOSI also extended Salam through in-person training sessions. More than 110 organizations participated in these safety workshops, learning how to better protect employees during Hajj operations.
These efforts align with broader goals to enhance workplace protection, empower local talent, and improve the digital service experience for all.
