Dammam – May 21, 2025
Saudi Arabia has executed Maryam Al-Mutaib, the woman responsible for one of the most disturbing child abduction cases in the Kingdom.

She kidnapped three newborns from hospitals in Dammam by deceiving their mothers.

For over two decades, she raised the children as her own.

Mansour Qaid Abdullah, a Yemeni accomplice, helped her and is also executed.

He knew about the kidnappings and helped cover them up.

Maryam tried to issue national IDs for the children she raised.

DNA tests later revealed that the children belonged to other Saudi families who had filed missing child reports.

Final Ruling and Execution

The case went through multiple courts.

The Supreme Court confirmed the death sentence under discretionary punishment.

A royal decree approved the execution.

The Ministry of Interior said these crimes were “corruption on earth.”

They confirmed that justice would be enforced against anyone harming innocent lives.

Victim Responds to Justice

Musa Al-Khunaizi, one of the abducted children, spoke after the execution.

“This crime shook society. But justice was delivered,” he said.

He thanked Saudi leadership and praised the efforts of security forces.

Investigation and Trial

The case reopened when Maryam requested IDs for two children in her care.

Authorities became suspicious and launched an investigation.

The Public Prosecution took over the case.

Over 247 legal steps were carried out, including 40 interrogation sessions.

Investigators interviewed 21 people.

Five people were charged. One suspect is still abroad, and Interpol is pursuing his return.

Maryam’s crimes were not discovered until 2020.

She had lived with the kidnapped children for years without raising suspicion.

Official Warning

The Ministry warned that anyone who commits such crimes will face severe punishment.

The Kingdom remains firm in protecting public safety and upholding Islamic justice.
